During my first year at school, my digestion began to fall apart.

and none of the doctors i saw could help.

My body finally had had enough. I wasn’t eating well, or treating my body with much respect, and some changes were necessary. But which changes? The professionals I saw could alleviate some symptoms, but the underlying problems weren’t going away.

And then the anxiety began.

After losing an immediate family member under very stressful circumstances, my system took a big shock. I began to experience severe anxiety, depression, and exhaustion. Symptoms like depersonalization, brain fog, and adrenal fatigue became everyday occurrences. Soon after, I seriously injured my lower back, neck, and nervous system. Every time I sought professional medical advice, I was sent away with a prescription and a diagnosis that never illuminated how to navigate and overcome my conditions. I knew there were better answers out there.

 

So I took my health into my own hands

It began with food. I radically changed my diet, incorporating more fresh food and limiting processed and chemically-treated products. I discovered meditation, and found that I could cure myself of my anxiety without the need for pharmaceuticals.
